Our wedding season is nearly over, and we couldn’t think of a better wedding for the end of the season: The wedding of Carina & Mark was sooo wonderful! They are such a cute couple and during their wedding they mixed Carina’s Austrian family with Mark’s British family and friends from all over Europe. We love multicultural weddings so much!

When we met Carina & Mark for the first time, Carina told us about the best coffee in Austria, coffee from famous „Julius Meinl“. Since then whenever we order coffee somewhere we are always looking if its Meinl coffee. 🙂 It is self-explanatory that for their wedding, they also had Meinl coffee for their guests.
We also had an engagement shooting with Carina & Mark during spring this year, and already during this shooting we noticed that they are destined to be together. How they interact, care about each other, smile, laugh and behave – it was just wonderful to shoot with them.

And it was the same during their wedding day, for which they chose a date with perfect autumn weather. 🙂

Carina & Mark got married at the wonderful castle „Schloss Halbturn“ in Burgenland. Halbturn is really a great location, with a caring and very nice staff (Mr. Wieser was great). Carina told us that they were really satisfied.

For the Getting-Ready, Carina, her maid of honor and the bridesmaids had a big room for preparing. The maid of honor and the bridemaids of Carina not only had the same dresses (they looked all wonderful!), but also individual coat hooks. Such a cute idea! And Carina bought her dress at the same shop (Finedress) as I (Marie) did. She looked sooo gorgeous!

The moment when dad comes to pick up his daugther is always very special. Proudness, excitement and a lot of emotion accompanies this situation.

Their civil ceremony took place in the wonderful hall „Freskensaal“ of the castle.
For their ceremony Carina & Mark prepared their own vows, which was a very emotional and wonderful part of their ceremony. This tradition should be implemented more often in Austrian weddings!

In between group pictures and cutting the cake (and drinking Meinl coffee :-)), we had the chance to catch the beautfiul sunlight right in front of the castle and make some beautiful portraits of the two lovebirds.

For the evening we moved to another hall of the castle. And there was enough space to have a wonderful dinner with heart-warming speeches, space for a kids corner, a pop corn bar! 🙂 and the possiblity to dance and party all night long.

Thank you Carina & Mark that we could be part of your big day!

Hope to see you soon again,

Marie & Michael
